About the role:

• Business operations support for quarterly financial closing as a Business Analyst
• Preparation for quarter close, ensure that all mapping updates are complete prior to close
• Business operations support
• GL customizing
• Support change management process
• Coordination and communication of issues and issue resolution with clients, both Finance and Info Tech
• Analysis of production incidents and provide problem resolution, communication with Finance or IT Clients
• Continuous improvement, review processes and initiate improvements
• Shift left: IT Business Analysis support concerning regression testing automation and handover to L2 support

About the team:The SAP GL Core & Closing team operates as a squad within a fully agile DevOps operating model with end-to-end responsibility (development & change management along the full life cycle) for the product. Being dedicated to a “leadership from every seat” mentality, the team jointly owns the quality and success of the closing processes. The SAP GL functionalities are key to deliver the financial statements for both internal and external reporting requirements. To ensure that the General Ledger Product meets the expectations of the business, the team is collaborating closely with all partners to ensure short feedback cycles and continuous improvements of functionalities.About you:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in IT, Financial or Business field
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in the role of IT Business Analyst or IT Specialist
• SAP General Ledger domain experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven IT business analysis skills
• Commitment to data quality, attention to detail and solution oriented
• Experience in at least one of the Agile frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban etc. and knowledge of Agile Project Management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft tools, such as Powerpoint, Excel
• Background in Finance or Reinsurance / Insurance domain would be an advantage
• Ability to work under stress and high level of flexibility
• Ability to work independently and willingness to learn new technologies
• Excellent communication skills, ability to speak & understand both Business & IT languages
• Team player able to deliver high performance when working in a team and/or when working independently
