What are the Key Deliverables in this role?
Category Development and User Experience
Develop and execute category strategies that align with the brand’s overall objectives and eCommerce goals.
Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
Optimize product listings, including accurate descriptions to drive consideration for our brand.
Financial Outcomes
Responsible for Top Line Sales budget delivery for assigned in ecommerce channel.
Monitor and analyze category sales performance, using data to inform decisions on promotions, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
Detailed planning along with brand, operations teams of Ecommerce function. Drive implementation & track progress closely. Lead the post activation evaluation process to improve efficiency of spends.
Internal Processes
Anchor the planning & execution workstreams for all activities in the portfolio along with brand teams.
Work closely with Demand planning team and field team to ensure forecasting accuracy for category.
Work closely with supply chain to improve inventory management & fill rates at channel level.
Innovation and Learning
Develop deep understanding of category & competition strategies & intelligence. Engage and work closely with brand teams for relevant category understanding.
Work with external agency & field team members for gathering market intelligence on competition pricing. Share actionable using competition pricing insights.
What are the Critical success factors for the Role?
MBA with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in reputed FMCG organizations
Candidates with experience in category management in F&B space
Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital sales strategies
Proficient in data analysis and using insights to drive decision-making.
