About The Role

The Accounts Associate position requires effective communication skills, basic accounting knowledge, and computer proficiency. This role involves collaboration with various teams within the organization to maintain financial records and ensure tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger postings.
• Prepare and file tax returns for both individuals and businesses, staying updated with tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
• Basic knowledge of Profit and Loss (P/L) and Balance Sheet is required.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Day-Day Accounting: Accounting entries for receivables/payable.
• Working knowledge of TDS. Should be able to create challan and deposit TDS.
• Creation of purchase invoices, Sales Invoices and GST e-invoices/ e-waybills.
• Should have fluent knowledge of Tally ERP9 or ERP next.
• Handling statutory documentation and office communication.
• Reconciliations related to suppliers and customers.

Skill Sets/Qualification Required

• Educational Qualification: Graduate (B.Com) and above.
• 2-4 years’ of experience is required in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools for efficient financial management
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets. Experience with accounting software such as Tally ERP is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward work and responsibilities. Ability to communicate effectively with government departments to ensure seamless closure of compliance and notices
• Efficient prioritization of work and timely issue resolution are essential
• Good knowledge of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) filing, GSTR1, and GSTR 3B filing and returns, clear understanding of P/L and Balance sheet is important.
• Experience in generating delivery orders, E-waybills, and invoicing.
