Our client is committed to further investing and enriching its current infrastructure and, in parallel, adding on top the latest technologies and developing its infrastructure services and solutions.Position Title: Open Stack LeadLocation: Koparkhairane, Navi MumbaiQualifications: MCA or equivalentExperience Required: 10 Years: The purpose of this role is to design and implement IT solutions for Corporate IT operations requirement, whilst ensuring compliance with the global target architecture and architectural standards and design principles. The role is also key to support on the overall architecture Strategy and roadmap for all aspects of Corporate IT ecosystem.The Architect will act as a senior representative for the Corporate IT ecosystem, gathering information and proposing solutions and designs. Strong analytical, functional, technical and communication skills are essential for this role. The role will strongly influence the governance of the evolution of the platform, ensuring the compliance of the globally defined standards within HGC. The Architect shall contribute to the analytics roadmap working within a fully agile organization across Scrum teams.Major Responsibilities:

• Analyses business challenges and technical issues and effectively communicates requirements and possible solutions

• Works in close cooperation with Business team, Technical Leads and App Development Team.

• Adheres to technical constraints defined by Architecture guidelines

• Identifying and analyzing various options related to IT infrastructure with respect to suitability to business needs, compatibility with existing systems, data security, etc.

• Inviting proposals from vendors for implementing above options. Negotiating with vendors for details of products / services, prices, scope of implementation etc.

• Analyzing parameters affecting the optimum utilization of the implemented infrastructure.

• Preparing action plan to ensure optimum utilization of the implemented infrastructure. Desired Skills

• Must have a balanced mix of technical and business skills

• Skilled in working with both local and remote stakeholders; skilled in working in multi-national and multi-location teams

• Has professional experience and knowledge of:

1. Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills; Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification2. Expertise in Virtualization Technologies such as Openstack, Vmware, Redhat KVM, Microsoft Hyperscale, etc.3. Understanding of software-defined networking (SDN), Open vSwitch (OVS), Open Virtual Network (OVN), and the neutron service4. Basic to advanced Red Hat Ansible Automation scripting skills to manage deployment and change management5. Ability to use Git and GitHub, including an understanding of branching, merging, and tagging6. Understanding of monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), or others7. Understanding of basic performance tuning concepts like identifying bottlenecks, workload optimization, capacity analysis, throughput and latency, metrics, and subsystems8. Red Hat OpenStack Platform administrator or engineer certifications are a plus9. Deep understanding of API Platforms10. Scripting and programming languages: Shell scripting, Python, JavaScript11. Analytics platforms and technologies: Hadoop Cloudera, Splunk, Tableau

• Works into Agile teams and organizations (Scrum and Kanban)

• Has the ability to design large, distributed, and scalable architecture solutions

• Has knowledge of Virtualization technologies and Containers solutions (VMWare, Kubernetes, Docker)

• Understands architecture best practices and design patterns

• Has proven experience of conducting workshops, presenting technical solutions, preparing high level designs and technical presentations

• Understands network protocols like SSL/TLS, IPSEC/Tunnels and Firewalls

• Is passionate about simple and clean architectures

• Has excellent communication skills (in an international, distributed team) and ability to learn and work independently

• Has a very good analytical and problem-solving attitude with the ability to quickly build credibility in teams

• Certification preferred: CCNA, MCSE, RHCE, CISP, ITIL, 6SIGMA
