Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Developer to join our team in Guwahati, Assam. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and web applications. Your expertise in WordPress development will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional websites for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to convert website designs (PSD, Sketch, etc.) into fully functional WordPress themes, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and meet specific project requirements.
• Perform website updates, regular maintenance, and bug fixes to ensure the optimal performance of existing WordPress websites.
• Optimize websites for speed and performance, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress installations, themes, plugins, and integrations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Work closely with the project management team to deliver projects within deadlines and according to client specifications.
• Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress websites and applications you have worked on.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL, with the ability to write clean, well-documented code.
• Experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Familiarity with website optimization techniques, including performance and security best practices.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to analyze and improve website performance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
