Job Description

We are looking for a Python Django Intern responsible for developing and maintaining Django applications. The primary focus will be the development of all Python Django applications and Python REST API’s. The Developer will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities

Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

Design and implementing low-latency, high-availability and performance applications.

Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

Implementation of security and data protection.

Integration of data storage solutions (Relational, Non- Relational and Distributed Data).

Working alongside other developers and UI/UX designers to build complex business logic and features to add to the existing web application from concept to implementation.

Architect backend, high-concurrency, multi-threaded, server-systems

Optimise existing stack and software.

Work on designing and implementing APIs.

Develop / Improve the core infrastructure for high scalability.

Qualifications

Primary Skills

Python, Django, Rest framework and ORM is required.

RDBMS, Understanding of DB Architecture and good control over complex SQL queries are required.

Familiarity with GIT.

Work on variety of software tasks and projects.

Tests, integrates, writes, troubleshoots, and debugs software applications.

Programming skills in Python

Experience with consuming RESTful web services

Additional Skill (Not mandatory)

Experience in any of the frontend or mobile application development platforms/technologies such as iOS and Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus

Experience in working with AWS (S3, RDS etc).

Basic debugging skills in frontend technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required.

Familiarity in Docker and other DevOps operations.

Familiarity in setting CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins.

Hands-on experience in working with e-commerce platforms is a plus.
