Technical Lead Full Time

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join the Wonder Hits Studio SIT Team. In this role you will be an integral part of the Wonder Hits Studio SIT Team, demonstrating technical leadership and delivering great results to the Wonder Hits Studio product portfolio. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality product to meet Integrity, Compliance, and Integration requirements. The Senior Test Engineer is an important member of the project team, working closely with the development team to build a solid understanding of the product architecture. You will work as and/or with the Test Lead to define the test strategy for the product family, and create, allocate and execute test plans that align to the test strategy and the overarching testing framework.

What You’ll Do

• Work collaboratively with the SIT Manager and Project team to ensure the testing processes are followed, test artefacts are generated in alignment with SIT guidelines to meet our high-quality standards.
• Analyze and understand the product architecture and commercial requirements and build Integrity test plans with clear objectives and test scenarios that will validate that the needs of the player and operator have been met.
• Drive your learning journey to build a solid understanding of the regulatory requirements applicable to the products you are testing.
• Build Compliance test plans that will ensure that the design and implementation of new game mechanics and features does not breach applicable regulations.
• Create Integration test plans that will ensure that new game mechanics integrate well with the technology that supports them including platforms, cabinet hardware/firmware, common code libraries and external systems.
• Shall be able to execute Integrity, Compliance and Integration test plans independently.
• Provide good test traceability from requirements to test execution and test results.
• Demonstrate sound and logical reasoning when raising issues to the development team.
• Leverage appropriate testing tools and techniques and use initiative to combine and improve testing techniques to optimize efficiency and meet our high-quality standards.
• Provide training and mentoring to other testers working with you on your projects, ensuring that they are allocated work that will continue to stretch and grow them, and providing the appropriate level of shadowing and oversight to ensure the integrity of their work.
• Support SIT Management and all testers in the Wonder Hits SIT team with effective communication and knowledge sharing to improve overall SIT process efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• B.E., B. Tech, MCA, or similar.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in Software testing, including product testing experience.
• Prior experience in the land-based gaming industry is preferred, or experience in a closely related gaming field.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Microsoft Office, Jira, Linux OS, Windows OS, C++, scripting and/or automation tools will be highly regarded.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with global stakeholders and interpret gaming regulations.
• Ability to navigate changing business priorities and be flexible, adapting to support the business as required.
• Ability to work positively and collaboratively with SIT & development teams to customize testing approach in accordance with product scope and status.
• Must possess good analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills.
• Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Team player with high people engagement skills.
• A mature, self-motivated approach and willingness to assume responsibility and accountability for all work, and accountability for the work of others under your direction.
• Proven ability to utilize creative thinking to solve complex engineering problems.
