Job Description

Immediate Requirement !Excellent opportunity opens for experienced Automation Tester with a strong ETL/DWH background, working around large data volumes. AWS experience will also be required along with Java/Python programmingThis role will shape to become a Technical Test lead where you will influence the decisions of which tools the bank uses on this greenfield project.

• Participate in test case peer reviews with BAs, Developers, QA and other team members
• Strong ETL/DWH Testing experience
• AWS Cloud Platform
• Java/Python programming
• Execute test plans, including functional, system, regression, performance, and database layer
• Record, log, and retest bug fixes
• Participate in user acceptance test planning with the project team
• Follow appropriate release management processes to adhere migration standards.
• Recommend, develop, and communicate quality assurance processes and procedure.
• Write and maintain custom test automation frameworks to facilitate unattended test execution, handle test errors, and report test results.
• Design and develop UNIX commands as part of the ETL process, automate the process of loading, pulling the data.
• Manage departmental inventory and troubleshoot testing, reporting and inventory issues.
• Work extensively with SQL, ANSI SQL and PL/SQL queries to test database functionality.
• Involve in all the phases of SDLC and STLC and gather the requirements from BRD’s.
• Validate mainframe PMS files migrating to DB2.
• Experience in working with DB2, Terada.
• Used JIRA to track and report on defects.
• Test the database schema with help of data architects using ERWIN.
• Generate the report from COGNOS report tool and compare with EDW database.
• Work with leadership team to analyze current SDLC process and recommend process improvements.
