About the internship/job:
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction 2. Serve customers by providing product & service information and resolving product & service problems 3. Manage incoming phone calls and address customer queries 4. Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction 5. Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication 6. Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools 7. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution 8. Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution 9. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents 10. Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies 11. Help generate sales leads in support in growing the business 12. Take the extra mile to engage customers
