Job Description

We are looking for a Test Automation Architect with hands-on experience of implementing test automation solutions in agile/ DevOps environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting Automation solutions for QA services, along with providing support to presales activities. Candidate will be expected to effectively lead, monitor and improve automation service creation and business growth.
Sales Responsibilities Provide technology leadership for enhancing test automation capability at organization level
Ability and proven experience in advising clients on test automation strategy, setting direction for long term automation plan, bringing in best practices and RoI evaluation
Possess in-depth knowledge of multiple open source/commercial tools for Web test automation (QTP/ UFT, Selenium, Test Complete, Coded UI, Tosca etc.) and Mobile test automation (Ranorex, Appium, Robotium, SeeTest, etc.)
Web and mobile testing (iOS, Android, and Windows), automation frameworks, Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins) and infrastructure for automation
Sound understanding of agile and DevOps methodologies, concepts
Having competencies around DevOps, Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Understanding of non-functional testing and ability to integrate the same within automation solution
Serving as an expert in defining and rolling out standard Automation Frameworks, in line with latest industry trends (Robot Framework, Scriptless automation, etc.)
Providing end-to-end delivery support for testing engagements
Actively participating with sales executives in client meetings and help sell QA services
Working on Sales Support for RFPs
Reviewing and implementing best-fit solutions among options evaluated
Establishing baseline requirements for the project with the Client and develop estimates
Ability to implement quantitative test process measurement techniques
Integrating manual and automated test effort
Preparing and carving out service offerings
Understanding software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case execution, deployment and, test data, defect tracking, and test automation

Desired Skills & Experience At least 8-10 years of relevant testing experience
Adept at carving out / architecting commercially viable testing solutions, creating value differentiators
In-depth knowledge of Platforms like Windows / UNIX / Mainframes / Midrange
Good consulting, communication, convincing, presentation skills and Negotiation Skills
In-depth knowledge of Testing concepts and Test Project management
Expert knowledge of Effort Estimation and Scheduling, Scope definition
Good Understanding of Technology and Client Business (Domain knowledge and exposure in at least one domain from Telecom, HC, Energy & Utilities, BFSI)
Must have Advanced / Expert level of knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, and processes
Hands-on QA Automation experience with proven abilities to design, construct, customize and maintain hybrid Test automation frameworks
Proficient in defining and constructing generic automation frameworks for web based and windows based applications Proficient on automating scripts on mobile versions of above platform
An expert on at least two of the following:
Selenium (Web Driver suite of tools, Auto It)
MS suite of tools (c#, coded UI, VSTS
Web API automation (SOAP / REST) using Java, C#, SOAPUI with Groovy, UFT, POSTMAN
UFT & or LeanFT
SAP Automation using UFT
Database Testing using SQL and C#, Java and JDBC, Python and PyTest
Sound knowledge of RDBMS database Selenium AND Web driver AND Automation AND (C# OR Coded UI OR VSTS) AND Java UFT AND SQL AND Python
Sound knowledge of Java / C#, web .net and VB technologies
