How will you make an impact?

In this position, you are responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing programs in support of business objectives. We are passionate about opportunities to deploy automation and targeted content. We need your help to draft and optimize content for email channel digital experiences, pull and refine distribution lists, build on the Eloqua canvas, launch in Motiva, analyze results, and provide insights and optimization recommendations to marketing colleagues.

This individual maintains a current understanding of email and digital marketing standards, and applies them to campaign execution. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, a self-starter, a creative thinker, analytical, ready to learn and participate in a data-driven learning organization, passionate about delivering on schedule, and constantly looking for new opportunities to improve performance and operational efficacy of our email programs.

What will you do?

• Collaborate across team and functions (Global and Regional Market Development Managers and members of the broader digital marketing team) to support brand and sales goals including integration of the email channel into crafted customer experiences.

• Lead the creation and execution of promotional, lifecycle, and transactional programs to our customers.

• Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time and dynamic content, and automation-enabled campaigns.

• Understand email technology and data sources to deliver incremental growth.

• Enforce email list hygiene rules to ensure deliverability.

• Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, and other aspects of email execution.

• Ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency in communications.

• Offer thoughtful insights, advice and recommendations regarding email tactics and opportunities for contact and email optimization.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science or related major required.

Experience

• Proven experience (5-7 years) in a digital content marketing role required.

• Knowledge of the analytical instruments market and the chromatography and mass spectrometry segments.

• Experience setting up, implementing, and measuring email campaigns using Eloqua or Marketo.

• Experience with marketing automation and segmentation helpful.

• Proficiency working with structured databases desired.

• Familiarity with data privacy policies (GDPR and CCPA) helpful.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Experience working with cross-functional teams including goal setting, leading team activities, and managing performance.

• Knowledge of HTML with hands-on experience in Eloqua and WordPress.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Be detail oriented and able to identify and resolve issues.

• Ability and desire to learn quickly.

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Have hands-on experience with key functions like VLOOKUP, TRIM, and Pivot Tables.

• Experience with WorkFront preferred.

• Use data and dashboards to develop keen insights on improving email and contact health metrics.

• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently with minimal direction.

• Proactive, upbeat personality; inquiring, investigative mind.

• Able to act in a highly autonomous capacity and work on the most sophisticated problems with corporate visibility.
