Role of Lead Specialist – Contingent Workforce Category reporting to Purchase Manager in India

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for supporting the Category Lead and Purchasing Manager and assist with Global Contingent Workforce category.

• Negotiating Blended rates, Markup Percentages with suppliers

• Manage global MSP and Beeline as the VMS and contingent life cycle management platform technology to represent single point of contact

• Planning, executing, managing and governing all the contingent workforce strategies, initiatives and programs for TIBCO APJ, EMEA, USA & Canada.

• Should be able to develop strategies to broaden the MSP scope to all contingent staff categories

• Should be able to analyze the agencies responses and score them, to assist in determining the partner with the best fit

• Should be able to decide which pricing model is the best option for TIBCO

• Track, monitor and drive renewal requirements with stakeholders

• Look for optimization options where applicable Negotiation of contracts and commercial terms

• Manage a daily queue of requisitions received and ensure timely execution by following the purchase process for TIBCO

• Contract drafting and review, working closely with legal, supplier, security teams

• Collaboration with key stakeholders across the value chain within the organization while working on global sourcing transactions

• Reviewing purchase request forms for accuracy and completeness, writing and/or reviewing specifications for supplies and services

• Reviewing bids and memos to ensure adherence to procedures and policies

• Compiling, recording, and completing narrative and numerical purchase data Exchanging purchasing information with employees & suppliers.

• Prepares and issues purchase orders through the system.

• Achieving of minimum SLA’s like cycle time, savings and the like in line with team metrics

  Who You Are

• Education : Post Graduate

• Years of experience: 6 to 8 years of experience with purchasing of Contingent workforce category

• Sourcing: Thorough knowledge of source to contract cycle including but not limited to: a) Spend analysis and data base lining; b) Market research; c) Sourcing Strategy d) Tendering e) Documentation for award of business f) contract negotiation

• Contract management and negotiations including commercials

• Should be well versed on contract management, EULA terms review

• Should have ability to identify the business risk though contract management reviews.

• Contract drafting g) Vendor performance management

• Adherence to process and procedures in line with guidelines of purchasing

• Tools Awareness: MS OFFICE – Excel and word – advance Oracle/ARIBA/COUPA/SAP will be added advantage

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English along with a sound business acumen to have collaborative exchange of communication across departments and geographies, result oriented approach and an ability of provide solutions to day to day concerns.

• Knowledge of additional foreign languages may be an added advantage like French, German or Spanish.

• Software skills: Quick learner who will have a team player attitude as well as eager to adapt to existing purchase environment and execute on tasks assigned with finesse.
