Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities JOB PURPOSE Responsible for Implementation of overall KPI’s/ metrics strategy for the organization including defining, collecting, analyzing and making dashboard of KPI’s across departments for tracking and reporting to management. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Data Insight Role

• Identify metrics and KPI’s to be tracked for all the projects at department and use-cases level
• Defining the benchmark for all the metrics and tracking it against the actuals regular interval as agreed with departments/ project mangers
• Automate the metrics for all the use case with the help of IT and MIS team for tracking and reporting purpose
• Collate, interpret and analyze the data points in every metrics and work basis business priorities and emerging business challenges / requirements
• Responsible for the dashboard at the project and department level for KPI’s and presenting to the management
• Ensure all data driven solutions (existing and new) have the organizations goals imbibed within them
• Provide inputs on data strategy based on business-user expectations and IT/ technology strategy
• Ensure all internal project members and teams are aligned towards the objective & all enhancements are in sync with the same

Responsibilities

• Design and recommend data structures, source systems and functionality, design facts and dimensions
• Understand data formats, fields and structures associated with various standard for functions across BALIC
• Analyze various aspects for solution / model design and development including evaluation of available data, variable selection, decision tree development, software, tools, testing, etc.
• Ensure tracking mechanisms are in place to check the success of the models along with DIDI and analytics team
• Apply technical expertise to develop solutions to resolve complex analytics problems
• Ensure data integration between multiple sources of data, and ensure data accuracy
• Prepare a detailed project plan for implementation as per stated objectives and align all relevant stakeholders towards it
• Participate in discussions with functional owners to understand requirements and formulate milestone-based project plans
• Maintain and monitor tracker across all projects, conducting periodic reviews with the team to ensure on-time and successful completion

DIDI Team development

• Conduct knowledge transfer/ training for team members, on relevant technologies/ platforms/ domain skills
• Support the team members who play the role of technical and data experts account managers to specific function(s)

4. MAJOR CHALLENGES Availability and collection of quality data to make the overall analytics process more reliable and valid Lack of analytics orientation/ slow adoption of analytics in the organization and therefore needing to continuously influence and seek buy-in from key stakeholders Internal Clients Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work

• Project Managers and Project sponsor: Interact and finalise the KPIs & the dashboards for tracking of metrics
• IT: To create systems, integrate with partner, build API’s, services, etc. for project delivery. Monitor application up-time and down-time to ensure project supporting systems are up and running
• Analytics: To understand various customer / prospect data pipes to identify and understand the delivery audience for respective projects
• Operations: To understand opportunities, implement solutions and seek buy-in
• Regulatory, compliance and fraud prevention: To ensure use case and solution used abides to regulatory and compliance
• CEO, Head DIDI, Group and shareholders – To seek requisite approvals and present final outcomes

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Qualifications a) Qualifications Graduate degree in Operations or General Management / Statistics / Data Management Understanding and experience of Ms. Office and SQL for effective preparation of files, formats and databases Basic knowledge of statistical and illustration tools (Qlik, Tableau) to be an added advantage b) Work Experience Overall 4+ years of experience Strong analytic and critical thinking skills Experience in Insurance industry having managed Insurance applications, Business roles and Data related projects Experience in Analytics / data warehousing and data architecture Ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy Be passionate about all impromptu tasks and overcoming project challenges basis priority setting
