REPORTS TO: Team Leader – Accounting, Reporting & Compliance

Financial Accounting and Closing of the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts at the end of every month
Full ownership of assigned tasks which includes ledger entries, reconciliations and substantiation
Ensure closing timelines are met, thereby ensuring no delays in filings in accordance with Statutory Compliance
Role also includes operational activities like raising invoices, vendor payments, intercompany/branch reconciliations and settlements, bank entries
Analysis and reporting of financial results to the management
Key contact for Financial Accounting & Reporting matters concerning the client including external reporting, external audits, income tax filings, etc.

Strong written and spoken communication skills with the ability to effectively comprehend Company and Client’s requirements and effectively communicate ideas
Ability to network well within the team and other support functions
Maintain good relationships with the Client
Good organisational skills including event planning skills
Ability to prioritise deliverables effectively and ensure accurate and timely delivery within multiple deadlines
Resilient to change – organisational, environmental, compliance related
Punctuality is the key
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage time effectively
Ability to work effectively in a team whilst also being able to work independently when required
