About the job

Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to be part of the Global Accounts Payable team. This role will manage a wide variety of responsibilities including processing invoices, issuing payments and approving expense reports. Reporting to the International Manager of Accounts Payable, this position is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth payment processing for all vendors and employees as Twilio continues to grow.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

• Invoice Processing with 100% accuracy and agreed timelines.

• Handle all kind of Critical Invoices in the process.

• Issue Investigation and follow-up for resolution.

• Backup for Site contacts in the Process.

• Subject Matter Expert in end-to-end accounts payable.

• Identify and suggest Process improvement ideas.

• Maintaining Error Trackers and follow-up for resolution.

• Ad-hoc activities assigned by team manager

Qualifications

Required:

• Master’s or Bachelor Degree in Commerce, MBA or any relevant discipline.

• Minimum 8-10 years experience in Accounts Payable, capable of working as a Subject Matter Expert

• Good invoice accounting and supporting knowledge of Finance, Taxation is mandatory.

• Good communication skills – both verbal and written of Portugese and/or Spanish

• Meticulous, accurate, detail oriented and good follow-up skills.

• Good command in Microsoft, Google suite, Excel and Word.

• Knowledge of International (EMEA & APJ) accounts payable would be added advantage.

• Flexible to work in any shift hours as assigned.

• Sound knowledge of LATAM region is must.

Desired:

• Experience in Oracle Fusion

• Sourcing & Procurement knowledge

• Knowledge of LEAN, six sigma or Lean implementation.

Location

This role will be either based in our Bangalore office, Hybrid or Remote. Approximately 1% travel is anticipated.
