The Studio team at Twilio is seeking a Software Engineer (L2) to build and scale the next generation of Studio, Twilio’s low code no code platform. This role will help develop and deliver new capabilities in the Twilio Studio. You will be a member of a scrum team who will design, implement, own and operate Studio services end to end in the cloud. You will be working closely with the team lead & Product Manager and will have the opportunity to propose innovative solutions to solve the exciting technical challenges. Members you will work with will be distributed in the USA and Asia Pacific.

It’s the fastest way to build and scale applications like IVRs and chatbots on Twilio. You have:
2-4 years of software development experience of highly scalable distributed systems.
Experience in developing and managing systems and services including technologies like Java, RESTFul APIS, Cassandra, MySQL and DynamoDB, Devops, CICD and other AWS services. Also have experience with frontend technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML, TypeScript and CSS.
Experience in container technologies – Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience with Micro Frontend architecture and implementation
Solid understanding of automation mechanisms, leveraging existing tools to ensure stable, clean, well-tested code gets deployed to production through CI/CD Pipelines.
Passion for identifying bottlenecks and refactoring the code while meeting the Definition of Done
Experience in troubleshooting and solving customer issues.
The ability to communicate well- in person, on paper, or in code- at multiple levels.
The ability to acquire new technical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, highly disruptive industry environment.
Iterative development and deployment, Scrum and Agile methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
