• design and develop java components of medium to high complexity for banking systems.
• develop high quality components meeting coding standards and timeline

Your team
You’ll be working in the GWM US IT Banking Technology team in Pune. You’ll be an integral part of a global team working with associates located in India and North America. We…

• own Banking technology platform entire suite of applications and products supporting business with – sales, marketing, client onboarding, deposits, cards, lending, and servicing.
• are a Technology Function fully dedicated to supporting the Global Wealth Management US (GWM US) Business and its IT Application Service Lines
• are a metrics driven organization governed by a set of mature KPIs and process

Your expertise

• Ideally 3 to 4 years of experience as Java Developer, focusing on full stack java development., finance sector background a plus
• hands on IT application development experience including a background of working within a Financial Services organization
• proven track record of delivering and supporting complex IT solutions.
• current experience of working with teams across geographies.
• degree or equivalent in technical or engineering discipline
• a strong thinker that sees problems around the corner and takes ownership to resolve them
• must have hands on experience on key technologies like java, spring, web & ui technologies (e.g. html5, bootstrap, react js), build tools (e.g. maven / jenkins/ gitlab)
• experience in design and implementation of modern of restful services, rest apis
• in depth understanding of standards, methods, techniques, templates as defined by sdlc and agile methodology
• able to produce secure, stable and good performing code with high quality
• must be able to complete the assigned task with little or no help from teammates, basically a self-starter and take ownership.
• must be able to work under pressure resolving production/qa issues
• must be able to deliver project requirements without any effort or schedule slippage
• strong written and verbal communication skills in english, and the desire to work together with our global stakeholders
• excellent research, investigation, and evaluation skills
• proactive, keeping stakeholders well informed of development effort status
• comfortable working in dynamic environments with fast-paced deliveries and changing requirements
• process oriented and have worked in an onshore-offshore model
