UnitedHealth Group Hiring for Product Manager at Chennai, India Full Time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products, from product definition and planning through production, release and end-of-life.

• Responsible for management of the full product lifecycle with a technical focus, including the strategy, design, development, management and end-of-life of new, existing or acquired products.

• Leverages market insights and emerging technology developments and trends to understand market/customer needs, as well as identify new opportunities or make adjustments tocurrent product offerings.

• Balances deep subject matter expertise with knowledge of business use cases and strong technical aptitude.

• Accountable for delivering product performance in alignment with expectations, and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position and produce optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs.

• Accountable to and/or owns the P&L, and is responsible for cross-functional stakeholder management, to include (but not limited to) design, engineering, scrum teams, business leaders, etc., functioning as technical expert with a fluency in development concepts and modern development practices.

• Drive product vision and strategy roadmap

• Engage appropriate enterprise-wide stakeholders to enable awareness and alignment

• Lead the product across its entire lifecycle using defined processes and industry best practices

• Know the market, to effectively identify and frame new technology products

• Define solutions with high-value requirements, a compelling business case, clear product positioning, priority and strategic impact

• Partner with stakeholders to enable successful development, delivery, and adoption of technology solutions

• Manage ongoing product performance, expansion, financial health, roadmap and end-of-life decision as appropriate

• Serve as the product champion and apply deep expertise to credibly represent, manage and engage with business(es)

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 8+ years in Software Product Development/Management

• Sound Technical knowledge on Data Engineering/Analytics, BI, Cloud, SQL, Product Testing etc

• Experience/knowledge of Agile Software Development lifecycle/development

• Ability to do market research, product prototyping, define product strategy and Roadmap

• Ability to engage with users and deliver Incremental value aligned to their need

• Should be able to collaborate with all stakeholders at various stages of product Development

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• US Healthcare knowledge
