Primary Responsibilities:

• Understand domain and create test cases, test suites with continuous testing methodology to execute Functional testing, regression testing, performance testing

• Quality assurance thru automation for ongoing/existing product development

• Helping in building quality gates in the code pipelines to enable devops practices

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Experience of 7 – 9 years with strong testing skills. Able to develop test strategy, design test plan, and test cases effectively and independently

• Experience in Java 8 / J2EE, Strong in Java Concurrency, IO and Collection, database query, HTTP & REST API design/SOAP Web Services

• Experience in different automation tools selenium, Protractor, JMeter etc.

• QA background with experience/responsible for full life-cycle testing activities (manual and automated) of applications based on defined requirements in identifying and writing/reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results. Perform thorough System, Integration, Regression, load, performance and End to End testing

• Good understanding of development processes and tools – Sonar, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD

• Expertise with JUnit, TestNG, or any other test framework. JUnit test cases and knowledge on DevOps toolchain

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Advanced degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience

• Experience in any observability frameworks such as Splunk/Graffana/Kibana etc.

• Experience in event streaming/message queuing with proficiency in RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ/Kafka etc.

• Experience in working any NoSQL databases such as MongoDB/Cassandra/Aerospike etc.

• Experience in container orchestration and proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes

• Understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles: object-oriented design, structured design, databases, algorithms, data structures, usability, debugging, and configuration management

• Strong technical and platform knowledge, including some or all of: Java, J2EE, Open source related technologies – Perl/Any Scripting language, MySQL

• Understanding of Data Model and create Complex SQL queries to Identify and creating test data

• Knowledge in different SDLC models and should have worked in Agile methodology

• Managed File Transfer (MFT) domain knowledge
