Duties
Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the Human Resources (HR) Office, U.S. Embassy, New Delhi. The incumbent will serve in the LE staff services team and will report to the Supervisor Human Resources Assistant for LE staff services. The incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of personnel functions in support of employees including Foreign Service National Direct Hire (FSN/DH) and Personal Services Agreement (PSA) appointees, within assigned portfolio. S/he will be responsible for employee hiring, check-in and orientation, preparation of PSAs and other personnel actions, processing separations, including making terminal benefits calculations, exit/check-out processing, and managing HR database, records, and employee personnel folders for the assigned offices. S/he will administer the performance management program for LE staff in accordance with applicable policies, regulations, and standard operating procedures. S/he will also generate quarterly staffing patterns, complement control, and other reports from various databases. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned. Note: The incumbent maybe required to occasionally sit late and work overtime during deadline projects and last minute requests.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: The position requires three years of work experience in the Human Resources functions.

Education Requirements:
The position requires completion of two years of college studies.
Indicate on the qualifications questionnaire your highest level of education. (Your answer will let us know if you have completed Class X or XII or any other degree/vocational courses. Also, please specify the name of the Certificate/Degree/Diploma course and the major subjects for each qualification you possess.)
Please see the Language requirements listed under Evaluations. Please indicate your proficiency level separately for each of the required languages, using one of the following levels:
Level 1, Basic – Examples: Basic greetings, phrases, numbers and signs.
Level 2, Limited – Examples: Directions, simple questions
Level 3, Good working knowledge – Examples: Conversations about familiar topics, complex documents
Level 4, Fluent – Examples: Infer nuanced meaning from complex documents
Level 5, Translator – Examples: Certified professional translator in this language
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:
Level 4 (Fluent) in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required. This may be tested.
AND
Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) in Hindi (Speaking and Reading) is required.

Agency Benefits:
Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office.
