Role Proficiency:
Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering
Outcomes:
Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.
Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.
Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
Mentor Developer 1 – Software Engineering and Developer 2 – Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles
Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation
Assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Additional Comments:Jira administrator with exposure to CICD tools: • Manage and troubleshoot Jira workflows, Fields, Schemes, Issue Types, Permissions, Groups, Roles, Notifications in Jira. • Good Exposure on Jira On-prem server administration which includes, troubleshooting server performance, exceptions, errors and debugging logs. • Exposure on Jira SaaS/cloud and knowledge on VM/Cloud to setup from scratch. • Analyse, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement. • Manage user permissions for tools according to the needs of projects and teams. • Perform application administration tasks. • Maintain JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and users while working in a JIRA • Improve JIRA security. Set access permissions for JIRA projects and Confluence spaces. • Work with JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and JIRA administration. • Communicate and share knowledge with internal and external contacts at all levels. Requirements: • 7+ years’ experience in total and 3+years of experience as JIRA Administrator with experience customizing JIRA projects with various schemes, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes required. • Minimum of 3-5 years’ hands-on experience working with any of the CICD tools like Jenkins, Github, Artifactory, etc with specific focus on JIRA as a Project/Application Administrator. • Experience with any of the scripting language preferably Python or Groovy • Strong analytical skills. • Ability to work in a dynamic agile environment. • Must have strong work ethic with good time management skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Position involves some interfacing with customers. Qualifications Bachelor’s Engineering degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or Master’s degree. 7+ years’ experience in total and 4+years of experience as JIRA Administrator with experience customizing JIRA projects with various schemes, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes required. Minimum of 3-5 years’ hands-on experience working with the Atlassian product suite, with specific focus on JIRA as a Project/Application Administrator. NOTE: Jira administration skills are must but the exposure should not be limited to Jira administration.
