This position is for seasoned Salesforce analyst/developer with at-least 7 years of overall IT experience. The person taking the position would be working closely with the service business stakeholders spread across the globe and help resolve their operational issues by providing efficient IT solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a strong Salesforce developer with exposure to working in an integrated development environment. The candidate will be a part of the Salesforce development team and will be responsible for delivering high quality deliverables within committed timelines.

Primary responsibilities include :

• Working closely with business super users to capture, document, and verify the requirements of the project stakeholders and end users.

• Delivery of Functional and Technical design documents for the features developed.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance practices like root cause analysis to remove and prevent defects.

The role will offer an opportunity to learn about the integration of Salesforce platform with various other line of business’ including SAP ERP system.

Areas of Focus

• An understanding of contemporary requirements gathering, analysis, validation, and best coding practices.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization.

• Design, configure, develop, and execute Salesforce assignments.

• Pro-actively identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in existing Salesforce.com setup

• Support the design, implementation, and rollout of Salesforce releases to Varian’s landscape.

Desired Skills and Experience

At least 2 full lifecycle SalesForce.com implementations

• At least 7 years of Salesforce development experience with strong knowledge of APEX, LC and LWC platforms.

• Familiar with standard Salesforce functionalities which includes workflows, data loader, flows and validation rules.

• Good functional knowledge of Salesforce’s Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Salesforce Field Service.

• Experience integrating data from external systems into Salesforce and vice versa using Boomi and other integration technologies like Web services, APIs.

• Experience working with multiple parallel releases for Salesforce implementation

• Experience configuring business workflows and customizatio

• Should be able to manage full application development cycle including, debugging, code review, unit testing, basic troubleshooting especially with Agile development experience.

• Experience with Integrated development environment, i.e. Visual studio

• Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript is preferred

• Experience in a SCRUM Agile development environment is preferred

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience.

• Salesforce Developer Certification is preferred.

• Major Plus: Medical Device/Life Science Industry Experience

• Major Plus: Experience with Boomi, salesforce field service/Service cloud platforms.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
