Veritas is looking for passionate, motivated and focused individuals to join a team of highly technical operational network engineers. You will play a key role in the support of our cloud delivered SASE network architecture and continual improvement of secure connectivity solutions spanning our hybrid environment. With significant investment in cloud infrastructure and automation this is a great opportunity to use your experience of network and cloud-based technologies to help Veritas continue the transition away from existing on-premise solutions using the latest methodologies, technologies and automation.

The role will be split between supporting our cloud network as well as providing support for the network infrastructure; core/distribution/access-level routing, switching and firewall hardware, load-balancers at our remote office and branch networks.

Experience Required:

• Experience supporting a 24×5 Operational environment, requiring shift support and weekend on-call
• Strong technical analytical and troubleshooting skills, and possess an ability to explain technical concepts, expected 5-9 years of relevant experienc
• Experience with issue tracking and ticketing systems
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Core network skills (TCP/IP, DNS, Packet Capture, Routing protocols; BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Good working knowledge of public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Working knowledge of AWS Networking services ie VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateways, WAF, NACL, etc. and Azure Virtual Network (VNet)
• Familiar with Firewall policy management using Palo Alto Panorama
• Understanding of Zero-Trust Security model
• Understanding network concepts between on-premise vs hybrid vs cloud model
• Understanding of automation and software defined networking
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud provisioning tools such as Terraform would be a plus
• Working knowledge of modern scripting (programming languages such as Python would be a plus)
