Project Development Team Leader
Position Responsibilities:
- New Model Product development team lead / Design change management
- Main Interface with customer for new model development
- Co-ordinate requirement with customer
- Co-ordinate Customer Issue resolution at design level
- Create and Manage development timing schedule
- Lead/Coordinate development team
- Arrange Cross-Discipline technical reviews
- Co-ordinate /achieve relevant design signoff to allow build/test
- Manage BOM and Engineering document release
- Manage the foreseen risk and problem
- Manage development budget
- Monitor and Maintain resource and expense for project development
- Lead prototyping build, delivery and verification (DV test) activities
- Support manufacturing activities if it required.
- Create/Prepare project-engineering documents required in Visteon development process.
- Support RFQ activity (estimate engineering Efforts/Expense)
- Report project status to management
- System gate (System/Software engineering status) review
- Periodical project status review
- Support Quality Issue of Launched project
- Collaborate with Customer quality member to speed problem resolution.
- Organize and Take lead of development team in issue analysis/problem resolution.
- Taking lead of customer discussion for technical portion as the first Customer contact window
- Explain the mechanism/Root cause of problem to customer with getting support of skill team.
- Explain and Get alignment of countermeasure and its timing plan.
- Collaborating with Skill team to drive the making recurrence prevent actions.

Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Mechanic or related fields
- Development experience as Engineer for Actual Product development (more than 3 years)
- Experience of Team Management of organizational team or Cross-functional team
- Develop timing schedule based on customer timing and negotiation.
- Good command in English both written and spoken
- IT Skill (E-mail, Excel, Word, PPT)
- Six sigma and Problem-solving tools
- Quality Control
- Development experience along with Company Quality Assurance Process and Procedure.
- Knowledge in IATF 16949 and core tool
- Experiences in QA system of automotive products
- Actual Development experience for Body electronics (Cluster, HUD or Display)
- Working experience in Japanese company (ideally in Automotive or tire 1 companies)
- Japanese language skill
