VMware is seeking smart, energetic, and technically curious engineers to join our team and help us deliver high quality, cloud based endpoint protection for macOS platform! The ideal engineer will possess a solid understanding of C++ programming at both the application and system levels, with a proven and established habit of delivering high quality code in a professional context. • Strong C++/Objective-C programming experience to contribute in feature development on the macOS endpoints for VMware Carbon Black cloud based sensor.
• Contribute to development of new features, collaborating with other engineers in team.
• You will get a chance to work on System Extensions and core system programming on macOS.
• Reproduce, diagnose and resolve issues discovered in the product and reported from field.
• Participate in code reviews actively.
• Develop features as per design.

What You’ll Bring

• 4-5 years of experience in application and system level software development in C/C++ with at least 2-3 years on macOS application development.
• Minimum 2 years of strong experience with objective-C and macOS application framework.
• Demonstrable technical development and debugging skills with a track record of delivering high quality code.
• Good knowledge of macOS system internals and related working experience.
