Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Working experience of Database administration(L2/L3)Database deployment on Kubernetes cluster and customizationWorking experience of logging & monitoring tools(Prometheus/Grafana, EFK, Metabase, etc)Application deployment on Kubernetes using Helm Chart or Manifest files along with CD tools like Argocd and GOCD or JenkinsTroubleshoot the application deployment issues.Build Docker files, Container Images for frontend and backend application.Solutioning on DevOps Domain.Customer Interfacing and application onboarding on Kubernetes cluster.Driving automation using CI/CD , Jenkins, SonarQube, Jenkins as a Code, Terraform, BitbucketBuild and deploy AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure by using terraform scripts. Use Ansible & Python to perform routines tasks like user management and security hardening, etc.Providing professional technical consultancy to migrate and transform existing on-premises applications to Public cloud and support to all Cloud-related programmes and existing environments .Proven troubleshooting skills to resolve issues related with cloud network, storage and performance management.Support the establishment of DevOps culture and methodologies within the organisation
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Excellent working experience on DevOps Tools: Git & Kubernetes Services.Excellent knowledge on DB – PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL server performance tuning, cluster optimization, DR setupKnowledge on setting up PGPOOL HA and exploring other DB solutions which can be used by inhouse applicationMust have deep knowledge on Monitoring – Elastic search, Fluentd, Kibana – logging stack on kubernetes, Prometheus/Grafana, Metabase setup and customization as per application needs.Excellent knowledge on Helm Chart, application deployment using Helm Chart and Manifest.Excellent knowledge on Kubernetes and Kubernetes objects i.e. services, service account, network policies etcExcellent knowledge on Docker, Docker files, Source to Image and Continuous Integration using CI toolWorking experience Codecommit, ArgoCD and GitOps.Expertise in automation and workflow like Cloud formation templates.Working experience with Kubernetes Secret, configMap, Deployment, application monitoring.Good documentation and communication skills.Degree in IT (any), 3 years of experience in cloud computing or 5 years in enterprise IT.Good Communication skills.
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
Adapt in ITIL, SOX and security regulationsExperience with DevOps concept in cloud environment.Working experience in managing highly business critical environments.DevOps certification with experience preferred.
