Description

The IT Operations Specialist focuses upon activities that help to identify and manage the changing customer / business / user needs (regarding IT requirements) and ensure customer satisfaction with Vodafone IT products and services in line with the Customer Service Management strategy. Providing technical advice and administration across the IT lifecycle for all end-users. The IT Operations Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in IT operations including administration and maintenance of assigned applications, services, systems and solutions, incident management, problem management, change and release management and vendor management, to drive improvements through innovation, best practice techniques, and collaboration. Key components and features of Exadata

Exadata Sizing.
Storage index and how it works.
Flash cache and how it works.
Oracle Exadata Database Administrator on Linux, UNIX with experience in Oracle 11g, 12c and above.
At least 5-year hands-on experience providing Rac database machine administration services and database support for Oracle 11g, 12c, 18c and above in clustered environments such as Oracle Cluster.
At least 3 years of experience with Data Guard, Golden Gate and RAC is a must.
At least 2 years working experience with patching, database support in ODA environment on Exadata.
Knowledge of Exadata stack patching.
Knowledge on hardware replacement on Exadata servers.
New cell server addition in existing Exadata setup and managing it.
Knowledge of Exachk and Exawatcher.
