The Product Owner has a significant role in realizing the vision of the product strategy and ensuring that products and services are developed with the needs of our customers in mind. This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with product, design, technology, program, business, regions, marketing, compliance and legal.
Role Responsibilities
Hands on experience in both upstream product and service definition, and downstream product development and execution.
Ability to own and build 0-1 products/features while working backwards from a delightful customer experience.
Strong understanding of data driven technical product management.
Good understanding of how mobile apps and web systems work with basic knowledge of systems design.
Should be a proponent of Simplicity across the customer experience and processes.
In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Working with UI/UX teams to bring engaging user experiences to life.
Experience using agile scrum methodology drafting business requirements, prioritizing features, authoring user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with cross-functional team members.
Provide ongoing analysis on product effectiveness using a data driven approach.
Assessing opportunities by identifying ROI, define key performance indicators and partner with analytics team to measure success.
Understanding product alternatives and working with multi-disciplined teams to understand trade-offs and put value on alternatives. You will define and document product requirements, features, and functionality.
Manage products through the product development lifecycle ensuring that proper alignment and approvals are obtained from Legal, Compliance and Privacy.
Coordinate with our global operations and marketing teams to ensure successful GTM execution.
Role Requirements
6-8 years of professional experience, with previous work experience as a Product Owner for 2-4 years.
Good understanding of the Product Development Lifecycle.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience required with agile tools and the ability to systemically apply them for consistency and agile metrics tracking.
Understanding of complex product environment and dependencies.
Strong communication skills with ability to interact with cross-functional roles.
Mentoring, coaching, and team building skills.
Strong ability to assess risk and apply risk management practices in managing technical product development initiatives.
