Job Responsibilities

As a government relations apprentice, your primary responsibility is to develop and maintain positive relationships with government agencies, officials, and policymakers on behalf of your organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, influence public policy decisions, and advocate for the organization’s interests. Your goal is to navigate the complex government relations landscape and promote effective communication and collaboration between your organization and the government.

Job Duties

Target Achievement, EPR Management, and Return Filing of E-Waste, Battery Waste, and Plastic Waste Management

Website Content Management for the Environment and CSR

Assist in managing CSR partner agencies for executing projects under Skill Development, Digital Education, and Environment and monitoring the same.

Preparing status updates for work done in the department

• Develop and foster relationships with Policy Think tanks at the Center (MEITY, NITI AAYOG, DPIIT, MINISTRY of Finance)
• Working on various white papers in consultation with industry players through Trade associations for advocacy of critical issues
• Develop insights on policy developments, especially around Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Data Privacy, Technology, Trade, Skill & Education, Sustainability, and environmental Regulations (EPR, E-Waste, CPCB, SPCB), etc. Assess the impact on business and strategize on an advocacy plan and engagement with various stakeholders
• Internal collaboration with teams such as legal, sales, global supply chain, manufacturing, regulatory and environmental affairs, marketing, and communications to strategize and safeguard negative impact while aligning to the policies and laws on the ground

• Skills/ Experience Required: 0-2-year experience in similar field
