The candidate must possess solid experience in:
Windows Server Administration & Maintenance along with strong troubleshooting knowledge of server-related issues.
Experience with Windows Server patching & troubleshooting patch management-related issues.
Good Knowledge of Virtual Environment (VMware)
Understanding of various ITIL Processes (i.e., Incident, Knowledge, Problem & Change Management) and how that works in an enterprise environment.
Knowledge of any scripting language, preferably Python or PowerShell.
Good knowledge in Server monitoring, Audit and Backup/Recovery (Preferably Veritas NetBackup)
Knowledge on Linux Operating System & related server troubleshooting will be a plus.
Basic understanding of Storage technologies SAN (VNX5200, 3PAR)
Experience in Vulnerability Management area with exposure on tools like Qualys or Nessus would be a plus.
Basic knowledge of Network Administration
Terraform & Ansible knowledge would be a plus
Azure administration knowledge will be a plus

Roles and responsibilities:
Supporting day-to-day operations within the Infrastructure Services Team with Server & Storage Administration, including performing Server and Storage configuration of virtual environments, and troubleshooting server and storage-related issues
Monitoring the server performance and availability, using tools to maintain service continuity with optimal quality.
Providing Tier 2 and 3 support for issue resolution relevant to the Server and Storage Management area
Supporting Application owners to migrate their applications to new server host platforms when required, as well as optimizing virtual server platforms
Maintaining and upgrading the Virtual Machine environment with the latest software and assisting in Patch Management compliance
Explore opportunities to further improve the service and stay on top of the ever-changing technology and security threats
Ensure smooth delivery of projects and implementations by offering Server storage, and backup expertise
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of network protocols, principles, and concepts including the ability to troubleshoot local connectivity issues as well as an understanding of Data Center architecture and operations in a highly virtualized environment.
