Job brief:

We are looking for an excellent Travel Operations Head to craft effective travel policies and monitor travelling activity and programs for groups. You will be the go-to person for any relevant matter from booking tickets, Hotels, applying visas, handling insurance, Transports to reconciling expenses to ensuring travel safety.
A travel operations head doesn’t just handle travel arrangements. They should be strategic thinkers and be able to create travel policies according to the company’s needs. The goal is to ensure safe and organized travel according to company policy.

Responsibilities:

 Develop strategic policies and programs for educational travel
 Prepare innovative and customized experiential education specific itineraries
 Handle and oversee all travel arrangements (air, lodgings, land pakages, Guides etc.) and operations
 Manage relationships with DMCs, travel agencies and vendors
 Negotiate contracts or rates with travel service providers and receive quotes from vendors
 Provide advice on travel documents, insurance, Visa etc
 Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
 Drive continuous improvement of travel programs
 Indivitually Responsible for outbound operations, data management, relationship building and product development.

Requirements:

 Mandatory experience of 2-4 years in the travel industry.
 Knowledge of domestic and international travel regulations, customs and currencies
 Working knowledge of MS Office and CTM/GDS solutions
 Excellent communication (oral and written), Presentation Skills and Negotiation Skills
 Well-organized and reliable
 An analytical mind with strong business acumen
 Customer-oriented approach

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 – ₹50,000.00 per month
