Your Tasks:
Budget responsibility (OOS/PS/Trave/Hours)

Plan the allocated Product Engineering (PE) resources and define priorities· Ensure Projects Staffing and skill set allocation

Fulfilment of customer technical and quality requirements, safety and legal requirements

Track and execute technical work packages

Track Product Engineering timeplan

Ensure Process adherence

Achieve Product target cost and contribute to Design to Cost (DtC)

Your Profile:
Leads all engineering activities within project team, Owns and manages engineering budget

Technical Interface to customer, Managing all PE deliverables in the project in time/quality/cost

Represents PE as single point of contact in Project Team, Ensures all Engineering Phase reviews and releases on time

No unplanned development loops, verification right first time on time

Engineering Hours/Spend according to project budget

Education and experience

BE/BTech (Electronics/Automobile/Mechanical) Masters in Engineering (Automotive/Mechanical Systems)

12-15 Years of experience in Product Design and Development in Automotive/CV industry (handling Commercial Vehicle Dynamics Systems, Advanced Braking Systems, Valves, Knowledge of Product Design, Validation and Certification)

5 years’ experience in Project/Product Management

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
