As a NetSuite Developer & Administrator at Branch, we are looking for an experienced NetSuite Developer and Administrator to configure and maintain Branch’s NetSuite OneWorld ERP system. As a NetSuite Developer and Administrator, you will be responsible for reviewing, planning, testing and executing the implementation of new strategies including NetSuite’s integration with other systems. This is a highly visible role, where you’ll get the opportunity to make an impact and create scale for a growing Finance organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of billing, A/R, A/P, general ledger, fixed assets, revenue recognition, controls, and reporting within NetSuite. You will drive business insights and continuous improvement, and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skill
As a NetSuite Developer & Administrator, you’ll get to:
Build and deliver solutions to optimize NetSuite’s usability and functionality, including the implementation, customization, configuration, and integration of NetSuite applications.
Implement and maintain third party integrations, including Salesforce, Avalara, Worldpay, Tipalti, Teampay, Nexonia, UKG, and homegrown systems, among others.
Maintain existing scripts and build new scripts to address business needs.
Collaborate with all stakeholders to plan and implement configuration and enhancement requests, while ensuring system integrity, and maintaining a smooth functioning of business processes.
Operate with a customer-first mindset, and serve as the technical subject matter expert and provide hands on support to end users.
Maintain user roles, access, and assign appropriate permission levels for NetSuite users.
Perform mass updates on an ad hoc or scheduled basis.
Review upcoming NetSuite releases to ensure system integrity and identify new functionality.
Create detailed technical documentation for new and existing process changes in NetSuite.
Perform recurring reviews of Branch’s NetSuite implementation to identify and address issues and recommend optimizations to stakeholders.
Ensure solutions are delivered timely and in accordance with internal procedures.
Collaborate and lead special projects as needed.
You’ll be a good fit if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field OR equivalent experience; NetSuite’s SuiteCloud and Administrator Certifications highly desired.
5+ years of experience in a Netsuite Developer / Administrator role in a hyper-growth, SaaS enterprise software company.
Proven experience with all NetSuite customizations and tools, including SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteCloud, as well as server-side JavaScript.
Experience implementing and supporting various NetSuite processes, including SuiteBilling, Advanced Revenue Management, Fixed Asset Module, approval workflows, multi-book, multi-currency, amortization schedules, consolidations, allocation schedules, and custom reports.
Experience with agile methodologies and service desk tools, such as Jira.
Ownership mentality and demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, independently drive projects to completion, with high attention to detail and sense of accountability for meeting deadlines and commitments.
Experience improving and streamlining processes, and developing solutions to operational inefficiencies, in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to interact with senior leadership, technical and business resources, and third party vendors.
Ability to influence and be a thought partner to coordinate/drive consensus across a diverse group of functional, technical, and business resources with conflicting or competing priorities.
Exceptional time management skills and capable of working in a fast-paced, changing environment with competing priorities.
Flexibility with working hours given the global coverage of this role.
