Project Role :Database Administrator
Project Role Description :Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Key Responsibilities : a: Manages the day-to-day operations of the Unix and Linux environment by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and issues b: Works with vendors to assist support activities c: Ensure that system downtime and accurate server inventory are properly maintained and documented d: Assists with problem resolution for technical server related issues e: Provide Support for Windows and VMWare

Technical Experience : a: Must have knowledge in Linux System administration b: Should be good in Windows and VMWare administration c: Knowledge of Puppet Knowledge of AWS d: Ability to structure and draft technical documentation e: ITIL Certified or a strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management disciplines f: Required to work in rotating shifts24x7 and provide standby support if required
