This position is within the Data & Analytics organization, responsible for defining requirements to drive deliverables & support data driven decision making

Job Summary

Drive project deliverables with thorough knowledge of technical design and framework

Possess Technical skills required to build the functionality and debugging issues

Be the point of contact and interact with Business Stakeholders, partners from external teams and internal team collaborators.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Evolve into subject matter expert in the designated field of work

Define requirements. Verify data-integrity for analysis, analyze data for errors and inconsistencies and conduct successful releases

Partake in data ingestion process from various sources (on premise, external), transform and analyze the data, support strategic and tactical initiatives

Design to enrich data and join datasets from different sources (DB2, Teradata, external Vendor files, Kafka topic, API calls etc) and with different formats (xlsx, csv, .json, etc)

Enable data in different target systems / move data to other platforms to make it available for decision making objectives (AWS S3, Snowflake etc)

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, comprising of both structured and unstructured data

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience

7+ experience managing large data sets and analyzing data for actionable insights.

Experience taking transactional business data, analyzing that data to answer a core research question and using analytics tools and systems to present the findings and insights

Experience querying/joining databases using SQL and deriving answers from complex queries

Proficiency in presentation (PowerBI or PowerPoint)

Knowledgeable in Big data concepts, Pyspark, AWS tools, Talend, Snowflake, Teradata etc

Knowledgeable in Agile software development and DevOps methodologies. Familiarity with version control tools (Github, Bitbucket, etc) & JIRA is a plus

Has strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation

Independent. Strong critical thinking, decision making, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Go-Getter. Possesses strong, planning, execution and multitasking skills and demonstrated ability to reprioritize accordingly. Must be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlines
