Who We Are Looking For:
AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of IT Systems Administrator – Thingworx Administration.
AGCO, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of agricultural solutions, has an exciting career opportunity for an IT Systems Administrator to join our Global IT team. This Systems Administrator II – Thingworx Administration role is responsible for maintaining our Thingworx environment by supporting IOT developers, managing the backend system, and managing incidents.
This role is a key enabler of AGCO building exciting new IOT applications and automations for our global operations. Candidate will manage the backend system ensuring proper software is in place, including patching, upgrading, issue management, as well as all housekeeping functions. Role will also support our development team, supporting them in server access, deployment management, etc. Candidate must have knowledge of Java, Tomcat, AWS Hosting, and Linux Redhat.
What You Will Do:
Manage the Thingworx environment to industry best practices and ensure uptime. Includes but not limited to: backup regiment, system performance, OS, Cloud Hosting, Upgrades, patching, incident response
Execute root cause analysis for incidents received, then develop and present options for resolution.
Work with the Azure DevOps system to track system changes and coordinate the deployment of these changes to production or test systems
Work with Thingworx IOT developers to support working areas, backups, rollbacks, and code deployment.
Plan, prepare and execute testing plans including unit, functional, and user acceptance.
Assist with estimations of new developments and enhancement requests (costs, benefits, resources).
Ensure individual and team compliance with all AGCO policies and procedures including Sarbanes Oxley, IT and Security. Follow established governance processes and standards.
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Engineering or relevant experience
2+ years of cloud hosting (AWS preferred)
Ability to manage applications hosted on Linux Redhat server.
Experience in JAVA and Apache Tomcat
Who You Are:
Effective Interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in English communication (verbal and written)
Willingness to travel – Estimated travel to be 5-10% of the time.
