Description of the role

As an IT Entitlement Management System (EMS)Solution Architect, you will be an experienced professional responsible for applying technical and process knowledge in translating business and customer requirements into solutions at EMS and SW Supply Chain domain -with key focus on Entitlement Management System (EMS) functionalities and system integrations to the application within the Nokia ecosystem – including ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) as well as SW Supply Chain related applications.

What you will learn and contribute to

You will be part of the team developing SW supply chain, including EMS, IT solutions and planning the future technologies, in tight co-operation with the global SW supply chain and delivery teams, hence business process understanding is needed from end to end SW supply chain, with primary focus on EMS.

Also, you will be applying advanced methodologies for the analysis and design of IT SW supply chain/EMS solutions as well as leading the work in project with developers who code, develop / build technical solutions.

• Propose, define, create and test solutions best fitting to the business challenges / needs and ensure that solutions are analysed and designed well.

• Support creation of feature, architectural and technical solution documentation.

• Participate in prototyping, piloting and Prove of Concepts (PoC) up to full-scale solution deployments

• Work together with global Business team, Technical and Solution Architects, Service Owners and Partners to design solutions based on business and customer requirements.

• Capture business requirements and work together with global IT and business Stakeholder teams, Technical and Solution Architects, Service Owners and Partners.

• Manage complex assignments independently for the specific domain including consultancy to stakeholders.

• Contribute to supplier selection evaluation.

• Define and manage detailed architectural requirements for solution design and build work during delivery phase for projects.

• Develop and deploy the solution architecture capabilities, tools and techniques.

• Ensure that overall technical solution and architecture is aligned and based on the target enterprise architecture

  Your skills and experience

• BSc or MSc in relevant field

• 3-6 years of relevant experience from Supply Chain and EMS related tools and technologies

• Understanding of SW supply chain flow from ERP (S/4 HANA) to EMS e.g. master data

• A deep understanding of solutions such as Entitlement Management System (EMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP – SAP S/4 HANA) and Global SW supply chain, including SW license key management and SW Delivery processes

• Capability to validate and test system functionalities (with Micro Focus ALM Quality Center), design and propose alternatives from process and business viewpoints to implement standard solutions.

• Experience of analysing change management impact of a proposed solution.

• Ability to understand the process and solution architecture E2E across the SW supply chain domain

• Comfortable with Agile, DevOps and Waterfall development methodologies.

• Can guide and train both external / internal project teams and end-users.

• Understanding of the relationship between costs, schedule and quality in defining a solution and capable of making trade-off recommendations when needed.

• Positive interpersonal skills and strong problem solving competence (e.g. 8D methodology)
