About Fixed Networks

Our Fixed Networks (FN) business group provides an array of “gigabit to the home” solutions to deliver data access to our communication service provider (CSP) customers. This includes Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) as well as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), xDSL and cable upgrades. We build solutions that don’t stop at the home but also bring that gigabit experience into the home using our meshed Wi-Fi solution.

Job Description

The responsibilities include:

• Design, code, test, automate using cutting edge technologies (OSGi, Microservices, Kubernetes, Elastic search, AngularJS, SDN/NFV etc)

• Review of code and test designs

  We are looking for a passionate engineer who can be trusted to deliver high quality products and can challenge the status quo. We expect candidate to have a broad interest in the software engineering field and help us to continuously explore new technologies to enhance the product and processes.

  Qualifications:

  Skill Set:

  Essential:

  Masters/Bachelor Degree in computers/communication/electrical engineering

  2 to 5 years of strong experience in development and troubleshooting Java/J2EE applications

  Passion to explore and work on the new technologies

  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  Good Team Player

  Good understanding of the software development lifecycle

  Good working knowledge of IDEs, testing frameworks, defect tracking tools, and version control systems

  Good technical leadership to guide a team and ensure timely and quality deliveries

  Desired:

  Exposure to Telecommunication and Networking technologies

  Knowledge of OSGi, Microservices, Kubernetes, Elastic search, Angular JS, SDN/NFV

  Knowledge of SNMP/Netconf-Yang

  Experience in Cloud based solutions development

  Experience in Devops environment

  Experience with NMS/EMS Development

  Exposure to CI/CD

  Prior experience in working with multi-site team
