The Admissions Officer/Manager is responsible for managing the student enrollment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient admission experience. They evaluate applications, guide prospective students, and implement recruitment strategies to achieve enrollment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Recruitment & Counseling
Provide guidance to prospective students and parents regarding course offerings, admission criteria, and the application process.
Conduct student counseling sessions, both online and offline.
Organize admission campaigns, open houses, and education fairs.
Address inquiries via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
2. Admission Process Management
Review and process student applications, ensuring compliance with admission policies.
Evaluate applicant eligibility based on academic qualifications and institutional requirements.
Coordinate entrance exams and interviews, if applicable.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and application databases.
3. Relationship Management
Build and maintain relationships with schools, educational consultants, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal departments (academic, finance, and student services) to facilitate smooth onboarding.
Follow up with prospective students to ensure timely enrollment.
4. Marketing & Outreach
Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and digital campaigns.
Participate in educational events and networking opportunities to enhance brand awareness.
Utilize CRM tools to track and improve admission conversion rates.
5. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure that all student documents are collected, verified, and securely stored.
Adhere to institutional policies, government regulations, and accreditation requirements.
Handle admission-related grievances or escalations professionally.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field.
2.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3.Knowledge of admission processes, student counseling, and CRM tools.
4.Ability to work under pressure and meet enrollment targets.
5.Experience in the education sector is preferred.
