Amazon.com is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Front-end Engineer to join the Digital Acceleration team. You will be involved in enabling data, metrics and analytics to several Amazon digital teams.

We specialize in building analytics and data engineering related products specifically around metadata management, data quality and customer lifecycle management analytics. We are seeking a front-end engineer with a strong knowledge of distributed systems to build enterprise-scale, mission-critical, multi-tiered web applications using tools that are well out in front on the technology wave. You must enjoy working on complex software systems in a customer-centric environment and be passionate not only about building good software but also ensuring that the same software achieves its goals in operational reality.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

• 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience

• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience

• Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
