Role Description
Job Purpose
Ø Ensure efficient conduct of Accounts Payable processes in compliance to applicable regulatory/ statutory guidelines

Ø Ensure compliance with the Policies and guidelines of the company
Ø Adhere with the Indirect, Direct Taxation Laws and Accounting guidelines

Process Improvements
Ø Drive initiatives to improve overall Commercial compliance across the Organization
Ø Automate processes to enhance the overall efficiency of the team and processes
Ø Implement best practices for Payable Management
People Management
Ø Upgrade skill and work towards development of the team
Ø Identify and develop talent for the next level
SLAs above benchmarks, Process Compliance %, Zero Statutory Non Compliance
New Processes taken up @ SSC, Automation of process, Benchmarking of processes

Scope of Work
a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend):
· 2-3 crores of departmental budget
b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports):
· 1 Executive and 5-6 Officers report directly and 10-15 Officers report indirectly
c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide)
· Global
d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other):
· Functional Coverage depending on respective workgroups and stakeholders

Previous Experience

· At least 1-2 years post qualification experience

· Knowledge of Accounting principles & practices
· Knowledge of Service Tax, VAT, Income Tax.
