What does the role require?
Honestly, the role of an Athena Executive Assistant is limitless.
There isn’t a ‘one description fits all’ as the role is wonderfully varied based on our clients’ needs. Athena EAs, in addition to the below day-to-day requirements, have planned weddings, organized dinner parties, forged new friendships and business relationships, developed new skills like web design, and produced podcasts – and that’s just to name a few.
Day-to-day requirements:
Liaise, coordinate, and negotiate with external vendors
Conduct ocular inspections on behalf of the client
Optimize your client’s time and priorities to help them reach their ambitious goals
Take ownership and manage calendars and scheduling
Research and develop plans for your client’s personal and professional growth
Surprise and delight your client by demonstrating initiative
Build rapport with your client’s network and team and help to manage these important relationships
Drive internal and external communications, presentations, reports, and social media
What is needed to have a successful career as an Athena EA?
Must be a resident of Shillong, India
Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
Working knowledge of Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides) and productivity and project management tools/apps
3-5 years of experience with leasing preferably of larger commercial/retail/residential properties
Working knowledge of technical jargon in corporate real estate
Working knowledge of travel management
Must be available to travel for work when needed
Experience/background in interior design/build-out/construction is a plus but not required
You will need to provide your own device.
RAM minimum: 8GB (however 16GB is recommended)
For Laptop: 8th generation (8000 series) Core i5 or better; AMD Ryzen series processors
For Desktop: Ryzen 5 3000 series and above. If Core i3 – 10th generation or higher.
For Mac: Core i5 – 2017 or higher Core i7 – 2016 or higher (not recommended: Core i3)
Internet connection: 10 Mbps minimum
Must be open to a hybrid work orientation
Willingness to work full-time (40 hours/week) at a time that suits your client
Preferably experienced with online/remote/virtual work, however not essential
Must be comfortable with liaising and coordinating with external vendors in person or via other means
