1. Travel Accountant (Accounts)

Location: Nagpur

Type: Full Time Job

Opportunity: – Are you an expert travel accountant with apt experience in the travel industry?

Btp Group offers a great opportunity to manage accounts and taxes across various areas of the company.

Your duties shall involve:

* Keeping all accounting entries up-to-date by the hour;

* Filing direct and indirect taxes;

* Preparation and processing of payroll and salary statements;

* Reconciliation of: Bank, third party accounts, direct and indirect taxes;

* BSP / IATA Statement reconciliation;

* Preparation of/for account confirmations from various third-parties; *Payment Follow up;

* Preparation and reconciliation of various final accounting reports; *Preparation of other accounting reports;

* Bank related tasks;

* Preparation of various financial ratios, analysis and reports;

* Other administrative tasks as assigned.

Preferred Qualification & Experience: –

* Graduate / Postgraduate with specialization in Accounting and Taxation;

* 3+ years of experience in travel accounting, audit and taxation or from any good organisation

Preferred Skills & Abilities As an accountant

* Accounting, bookkeeping and taxation (especially travel industry);

* Accounting software like Tally ERP 9, Excel, Satnam, Win Yatra, and others;

* IATA and Non-IATA Agents accounting;

* All accounting vouchers: Sales, Purchase, Sales Return, Purchase Return,Debit Note, Credit Note, Journal Voucher, Receipt, Payment, Contra Entry, etc.;* Indirect Taxation: GST, Professional Tax, etc.,

* GST Filing: GSTR 1, GSTR 2, GSTR 3B filing with reconciliation;

* Travel industry’s GST: SAC / HSN Codes relating to the travel industry, taxation rates of various travel services, GST calculations, applications, laws and procedures; * Direct Taxation: Income Tax, TDS sections and procedures;

* Direct Tax filing: filing Income Tax Return, TDS, TDS Return;

* Assist with tax audits and tax returns;

* Payroll Management: Salary breakups, tax exemptions under various sections, ESIC, PF, PPF, etc.;

* Final Accounting – Trial Balance, PNL, Balance Sheet;

* Reconciliation of Debtors and Creditors;

* Reconciliation of Bank Statements;

* Various accounting report generation – Ageing Reports, Fund Flow

Statements, etc;

* Understanding of banking and various bank financial instruments like BankGuarantee, Letter of Credit, Credit, Overdrafts, etc.

* Company law & Company Secretarial activities;

* Updated with various taxation and company law changes. As a travel- accountant

* BSP / IATA Statement reconciliation;

* Airline and CRS Commission & ledgers statements reconciliation;

As a Financial Manager:

* Understand and derive company valuations and various growth ratios (PE,EPS, Dividends, DYR, Book Value);

* Understand and derive profitability at various levels;

* Understand and derive various liquidity ratios and analysis;

* Understand and derive various management efficiency ratio sand analysis;

* Understand and derive various leverage ratios;

* Understand and prepare various financial reports like CMA, financial projections, etc.;

* Understanding of stock markets – IPO, stock exchange, secondary markets
