Boeing ecommerce team is currently looking for Experienced Systems Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, India. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) IT organization. The selected individual will work in the Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center (BIETC) in Bangalore, India. As an Experienced Systems Engineer, the selected individual will work with the Boeing India teams and its partners and stakeholders to develop, maintain and improve the ecommerce applications.

Key responsibilities include:

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to Lead & assist with analyses, design, development and verification of a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Lead the Team for evaluation of operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Develop and implement Manufacturing for BCA/BDS processes in 3DX (previous experience as Manufacturing Engineer is highly desired)
Define, Publish and Present solutions to Technology leaders and business executives of the enterprise spread across geographies.
Functional Specifications driving through Architecture review Board.
Assist in implementation Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) framework and concepts.
Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies
Help the Department to grow with expanding capabilities and undertaking complex SOW’s.
Bridge the Gap between Legacy process and Advance systems for Digital Transformation Program.
Lead a local team of System Engineers, provide daily direction of tasks and assignments.
Teach/mentor team members about Boeing processes and how to use PLM domain and PLM tools.
Provide team activity report to the Manager.

Additional responsibilities:

Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
Understand tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and other Solution Architects, Product Manager, and developers to deliver the solutions of highest quality for complex SOW’s.
Support Cross Bedrock Integration SAP-3DX-Apriso.
Testing and Support on Virtual Commissioning activities.
Participation in Various Boeing Initiatives such as MBD, MBE etc.
Participation in ETID (Enterprise Technical Integration Decisions)
Lead Architectural and Technical discussions with large groups of people in solution design workshops.
Provides solutions for integrating 3DX with other PLM systems and Legacy applications.
Define or review the workload, the tasks, the target schedule, the necessary hardware and software resources.

Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills/Experience):

Engineering degree and 10+ year’s related experience, a Master’s degree and 8+ year’s related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Domain knowledge preferably Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive, Manufacturing.
The position will require strong Functional knowledge skills in PLM domain and PLM tools specifically Dassault Systems 3DExperience Suites DELMIA/ENOVIA/CATIA/SIMULIA.
Develop and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related design and systems engineering documents.
Provide MBSE/SysML expertise and related support to the entire systems engineering team.
Link / Trace system models to requirements, architecture, design, Manufacturing and ERP Processes Past experience and demonstrated ability to manage Aerospace Production Systems development.
Work closely with Boeing IST (Integrated Solution Team) & DS consultants to capture Boeing Business Process Gaps, Create functional specifications for MBOM & Process Planning.
Ability to identify and implement model-based architecture and engineering methods and standards.
Sound knowledge on Aerospace manufacturing and Assembly practices.
Knowledge on Concepts development for Digital Thread, Digital Twin.
Experience in complete Tooling Lifecycle along with change management process.
Should have hands on experience in defining and implementing the Manufacturing processes in Digital Manufacturing tools like DELMIA.
Should have hands on experience on creating MBOM, Process Planning, Assembly Evaluations, Shop-floor work instructions, Robotic offline Programming, Ergonomic validation and Discrete Event simulation, IP Classification, Collaborative Lifecycle, Issue Management, Project Management, 3DDashbaord.
Experience in Manufacturing operations management systems like SAP Apriso, Quintic.
Should have hands on experience 3DX Data model and its customization, EKL and TCL/TK scripting.
Should have hands on experience on VBA scripting/ Java scripting/ Python scripting.
Practice Agile methodology.
Having experience with tools such as GITLab, Any PLM, Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of Siemens Tecnomatix, Team Centre is added advantage.
Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Boeing and external partners.
Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and execute on projects.
Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with team members across different cultures and time-zones.
Should have exposure/understanding of production system and its overall operations.
Certifications in Agile, Manufacturing & 3DExperience is highly appreciated.
Exposure to SAE ARP 4754 & 4761 Standards
INCOSE certification on Systems Engineering is an added advantage

Other Skills/Experience:

Willingness to scale and adapt to other additional PLM Products.
Knowledge in MBSE CAMEO (or equivalent tools)
Knowledge in Model Based Enterprise which includes Model Based Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering, Model Based Manufacturing Process Planning is desired
Applying Scaled Agile framework for program / project lifecycle methodology
Experience in implementing DevOps practices, developing CI/CD roadmap and implementing in projects.
