BOT VFX Hiring for Digital Matte Painting (dmp) Artist at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Full Time

• Develop highly realistic matte paintings for use in our projects, ensuring they seamlessly integrate with the live-action footage or CG elements.

• Utilize your strong artistic skills to create visually stunning compositions and demonstrate a good understanding of color theory and composition principles.

• Employ advanced 2D and 2.5D projection techniques to achieve realistic depth and perspective in your matte paintings.

• Collaborate closely with the Compositing & 3D Department and other 2D teams at Botvfx, maintaining excellent communication and problem-solving skills throughout the production process.

• Manage your own time effectively and meet project deadlines.

• Work within a production environment, utilizing the Nuke compositing software and demonstrating a good understanding of Nuke compositing workflows.

• Utilize Shotgun (Shotgrid) for project management and asset tracking.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Photoshop, with a strong portfolio showcasing your artistic skills and ability to create realistic digital environments.

• Extensive knowledge of DMP workflows, including 2D and 2.5D projection techniques.

• Experience using Nuke compositing software in a professional setting.

• Familiarity with Shotgun (Shotgrid) and experience working in a production environment utilizing this software.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working on high-end film or episodic TV VFX projects.
