Job Description

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into effective code

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code

• Take ownership of module till its get deployed to production in timely manner

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code

• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

• Eager to work on latest technologies

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming

• Knack for writing clean, readable Java code

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (MySql, Hibernate)

• Experience in the Spring Framework

• Experience with test-driven development

Must-Have:

• Java 8

• Relational Database (Must have working experience with any of the databases: Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQLServer)

• REST API (Ability to write scalable rest api which can handle more than 20k simultaneous users)
