Cerner is elated to hire for Data Analyst I role. As a Data Analyst I, you would be providing analytical support to business unit executives across the organization and contribute to logical business decision making. You are expected to build relationships across levels and functions that can be leveraged for increased results with cross-functional knowledge and capability. You would be working on projects that span across different business units to provides innovative solutions to challenging business problems. You will Analyze data, thinks critically, quantitatively and qualitatively and suggest multiple inputs and priorities and organizes them into a presentable output. You are expected to research industry practices, methods, resolutions and implements process change and improvements that are sustainable and repeatable. You will be Interacting with various stakeholders and leaders to collect information etc. .You are required to work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards and in addition prepare and submit monthly management reports relating to company systems, compliance and incidents. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• At least 5 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
  • At least 1 year of Data analytics and/or statistics work experience, including experience in quantitative or statistical analysis, data mining, predictive or statistical modeling, applied programming, data management, data transformation, data visualization and/or quantitative or statistical research.
  • At least 4 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics

Preferred Qualifications:

• • Experience/Knowledge on Big Data
  • Expertise in business reporting tools like Oracle BI, Tableau
  • Proficient in Data Analytics
  • At least 2 Years of Business Process or Analytics & Reporting experience
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Knowledge of SQL scripting
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Previous Client service experience
  • Background related to IT managed services
