Job Description:

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in building advanced VBA functions and advanced Excel skills (i.e. complex functionalities). Exposure and working experience in Python/PowerBI/Power Platforms is an added advantage.

• Capability of building custom modules, functions and user forms in VBA

• Ability to normalize complex data/define referential integrity in Excel.

• Capability of connecting with various data sources using ADO , OData , ODBC connection, SAP systems, RESTful API and SharePoint and extracting the data into excel

• Ability to pull data from MS platforms like outlook, PowerPoint , MS word and text files.

• Ability to use power query to pull data into excel

• Experience in building VBA scripts for data cleansing, Regular expression

• Ability to programmatically manipulate worksheet and cell properties using VBA .

• Good to have knowledge about dynamic data source for pivot tables. ex connecting to source

• Must possess problem solving skills and be proactive in researching solutions .

• Confer with stakeholders to gain understanding of needs .Convert the requirements into working model.

• Develop test plans and software documentation to support new releases and code modifications.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and established standards are in use.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Oil and Gas Business Domain knowledge is an added advantage

• Capability to build script on Python would be an additional advantage

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the development of technical models for projects collaborating with different business stakeholders & other partners and working across a range of technologies and tools.

• Deliver high-quality Data Solutions by Adhering to the required software development standards.

• Work in a collaborative team-oriented environment with the business and IT to complete application development by assisting in the design, coding, and testing of technical solutions

• Involve in all phases of software development and Develop documentation throughout the life cycle

• Maintain and develop codebase, troubleshooting bugs, resolve issues and enhancements.

• Perform Peer code review, suggest improvements and assist them to deliver quality deliverables with the minimum standard.

• Adopt and Implement best practices in coding, unit testing and test cases.

• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
