Job Title: Manager, Import & Export

Location: -Goa

What is Expected.

Detailed knowledge of Import & Export Rules, Customs, DGFT Rules, Regulation Policies and Notifications, Import & Export Logistics, Efficient transportation, Negotiation with Transporters and Freight Forwarders, Compliance statutory requirements, meeting customer delivery requirements, Liaison with Customs, GST, DGFT etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Import Functions:

• Verification of Check list of Customs Duty
• Verification of Tracking of Import shipments
• Co-ordinating with freight forwarder and CHA for clearance of import goods.
• Arranging for the Customs Duty from accounts.
• Verifying of Import freight bills.
• Imports of goods at concessional rate of duty
• Claiming Revenue Deposit from customs

Export Functions:

• Knowledge of Export procedure & documentation.
• MEIS applications.
• Calculation of differential customs duty and arranging the payment for the same.
• Tracking of Export shipments
• Cost effective and fastest movement of air & sea export consignments.

Qualification : Preferably with Bachelor’s in related curriculum such as Commerce/Engineering., Diploma in export / import management/LLB preferable.

Experience: Preferably 10+ years of related experience

Skills Required :

• Computer knowledge, Preferred proficiency in SAP
• Familiar with Microsoft Office software
• Ability to get work done from Freight Forwarder and CHA
