Job Description
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
Experience: 5 to 6 years
Skillset: Experienced in Design of Automobile Chassis and Suspension systems
Good knowledge in Electrical Vehicle system
Tools: Proficiency in Catia V6
Work Location: Bangalore
Travel requirement: May need to travel UK for short term (max 6 months)
- Work in PLM Software to update part status, revise parts, release the latest data and complete the PLM process per workflow.
- Designing components and assemblies as well as revisions to existing products, creating layouts, models, and performing tolerance stack-ups to assure proper clearance and fits.
- Create drawings, applying the appropriate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances using ASME or other applicable standards using Design/Drawing Masters/customer specific standard, as required.
- Create drawings for child parts, sub-assembly, and top level Assy drawings per CAD BOM.
